Rio Lamada (Jeannie) is a Canadian Sport Horse mare by Rio's Grande Eh?, full brother to Dressage Canada's Horse of the Year 2002 - Bri-Mel's Ruhm. Her Grand Sire Reo Negro(Rioalto/Ramzes) was the Brickendon Stallion Award Winner for 2005, her Grand Dame Comtess Leah (Fruhlingstraum) won the Stanley Broodmare Award for 2002. Rio Lamada had a very successful first show season in 2004 scoring consistenlty in the mid 60's in dressage. She passed her keurring in 2005 with 8's for her trot and walk. Rio Lamada's 2006 foal by Garamond has proven her excellence as a broodmare. BF Gaetana inherited the best of both her parents and shows excellent conformation, temperment, and movement. Rio Lamada recently delivered her second foal by Garamond II for 2008. BF Gestik is a large typey colt with a lovely shoulder, nice short back, and lovely haunch. He has a very out going personality - we have great hopes for this little character.
